Many people find that without music, a musical just isn't as instrumental. If writing a song is difficult, writing a song for a theatrical production is damned near impossible. Especially the way Cory does it. He records the entire song backwards, and then plays it in reverse to see how it sounds (he doesn't really, but wouldn't it be cool if he did).
Here are a few samples. All songs performed by The Peter Penhallow Orchestra and feature the voices of Gail Gongoll, Melissa Phillippe, Randy Phillippe, Larry Williams, Kim Williams, and Tom Holmes. Special thanks to the Great Sensei, Peter Penhallow, for his ability to understand the vision, take a few chords and a dream and turn it into something beyond the composer’s wildest dreams. He is a producer, engineer, arranger, and musician extraordinaire.

Cold Cuts - They say love means never having to say you're a pair of psychopaths hellbent on murdering anyone you come in contact with. Eddy and Lucretia would agree.

Train Song - Life's a journey, not a destination. Naaah, it's a destination. Texas.
