Cory Bytof and Christopher Minori first met at Fort Pierce Central HS at the tender age of 16.  While their love was frowned upon by the other students-- whoops!  Wrong bio!  Chris and Cory met in HS and became fast friends, as two of the only punk rockers in the small town of Port St Lucie, Fl, circa 1984.  While in school, the two, with a group of their friends, produced a showing of Little Shop of Horrors, with Chris playing Audrey II and Cory playing Orin Scrivello, DDS.  For the playbill, Chris jokingly wrote that his next production was The Texas Chainsaw Musical.  After years of being asked when he was going to write it, he decided to turn his joke into an actual production.

As a huge Oingo Boingo fan, Chris wrote the play around the band's music, however, when he tried to get the rights to use the songs in the play, he was denied.  He then spent the better part of a few years trying to find a musician to write the music.  Everyone who read the play loved it, then said it wasn't the kind of music they wrote.  By this time, Chris and Cory had lost touch with each other, with Chris living in Vermont, and Cory having moved to California.  Searching through a yellow pages on cd-rom, Chris was able to find Cory, and it was as if the two had never parted.  It turns out, Cory had taken up the guitar, and was just starting to write some songs.  Chris invited Cory to collaborate with him, and the two were a perfect match, working together to write The Texas Chainsaw Musical, a play so funny, that it caused William Shakespeare to remark, "Dammit, that's good; I wish I had written it."

Christopher t. Minori, author of the book

Christopher was born in Brooklyn, New York.  For a long time, nothing happened.  Then he wrote his first story, Final Request.  While that story wasn't published, his next story, Dog Spelled Backwards, was.  Christopher has displayed many different talents, including being an unemployed actor, unsuccessful director, frustrated writer, and scantily clad carwash employee (on weekends).  With the completion of Texas Chainsaw Musical!, he is in the process of writing a script for an animated short, continuing to write his novel, Devil's Advocate, and is currently working on a grocery list.  It's going to be a good one.

Cory Bytof, lyrics & music

Despite deep feelings of inadequacy and a discomforting drip, Mr. Bytof has risen to great prominence in the eyes of his dog. Nevertheless, he has been able to complete the music and lyrics to The Texas Chainsaw Musical! in just under 1 year. Cory, on the other hand, took another 9 years so-called 'improving' on BoBo's work and now claims it as his own, thanks to his stealth submission for copyright.  Born a pauper in Appleton, Wisconsin, to an upper middle-class family, he moved to Florida and embarked on a long, painful journey of beatings and humiliation at the hands of his schoolmates, as well as the little girl down the block.  Amidst the backdrop of 70's TV sitcoms, Robert Bloch stories, heavy metal music and Iron Man comics, he dreamed of being a rock star.  He's performed on stage in musicals and plays, and has been writing songs for 20 years. Married with one child in Northern California, he is currently sucking on the teat of Big Government.  And praying someone will produce his music.
